Strand Ancient Neolithic Carnelian Agate & Quartz Beads-AFRICA
A strand of ancient Neolithic carnelian agate, quartz and stone beads.
Some of the beads display wonderful markings of the very rudimentary hand-drill, used to make the holes, especially evident in the flat disk-shaped beads.
The beads display a superb range of colors, shapes and textures; sizes range from 0,3 cm to 3 cm in length, 0,7 to 2,5 cm in diameter.
Condition of these ancient beads is very good, some very minor chips - Collected in Mali.
Origin: Inner Niger River Delta
