Entirely hand-shaped, this piece because of the red color of the clay, is typical of the region of Timbuktu.
Geographically, the Inner Niger River Delta spans the various areas along the length of the meandering Niger River, from the region of Old Segou in Mali extending into the region of the Niger Delta in Nigeria.
